In Kakamas and Keimoes, our multi-disciplinary teams conducted inspections at various tuck shops, uncovering alarming conditions that posed serious risks to public health. Shops found operating under extreme unhygienic practices were closed, and prohibition notices were issued.
Our dedicated Environmental Health Practitioners confiscated and disposed of unsafe items, including rotten food and expired goods. These inspections are vital in ensuring adherence to laws that protect our communities. We thank all stakeholders for their commitment to the success of this program.
