Today, the Northern Cape Consumer Protection Authority, together with the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and other key stakeholders, conducted a joint compliance operation in Kenhardt to promote consumer protection and ensure that businesses operate within the law.

The operation was also joined by the Mayor and local councillors demonstrating government’s collective commitment to protecting consumers and encouraging responsible business practices in our communities.

These inspections form part of ongoing efforts to educate businesses, enforce compliance, and safeguard consumers from unfair and illegal trading practices Businesses are encouraged to ensure that they have valid trading licences and comply with all regulatory requirementsto avoid penalties or closure.
