The training and youth development initiatives of the Department remain a key catalyst to overcome the triple challenge of poverty, unemployment and inequality. The 40 learners completed the theoretical training, are now subjected to assessment and moderation. Thereafter they will be enrolled in a learnership programme. The Department of Roads and Public Works continues to strengthen its working relations with municipalities and Construction SETA to advance youth and infrastructure development in the province.
